Energy & utilities
The technician is at the substation with a phone and the procedure runs to eighteen hundred pages of PDF, while connection files run down their deadline and complaints get answered by opening three systems. Inferana puts that documentation one question away, inside your network.
What each regulation in your sector requires, and which part of that the deployment solves.
Risk management, supply chain security and incident notification within the deadline.
A European provider with a dedicated or on-premise deployment, documented for your supply chain assessment, and an audit trail of every query.
Cybersecurity controls for entities involved in cross-border electricity flows.
The deployment sits on the corporate network, separate from operational systems, with access control per user and per team.
Resilience of critical entities against disruption of essential services.
On-premise on your own infrastructure, with no dependency on an outside service for staff to consult their documentation.
Minimisation and confidentiality of the consumption data recorded by the smart meter.
Zero logs by design: prompts and responses are never stored or used to train models, and inference stays inside your perimeter.
The same ones you already use, specific to your sector.
The work gets done, by hand, past the deadline, by the same people doing the same thing again. The next meeting brings it up again:
The procedure runs to eighteen hundred pages and the technician is up the tower.
Operations & maintenanceWork orders come back on paper and someone types them up the next day.
Field crew supervisionA connection file misses its deadline because it sat in somebody's queue.
Grid connectionsEvery incident ends in a report someone writes by hand at 3am.
Grid operationsWe answer one complaint by reading three systems, and the customer has called twice.
Customer serviceThe circular changed in January and we are still working from the old version.
Regulatory affairsI approve nothing that calls a service outside our own network.
Industrial cybersecurityNo. Inferana works with documentation and knowledge: procedures, maintenance reports, files, regulation, complaints. The deployment sits on the corporate network and has no access to the operational network. Nobody here will offer you an AI that operates anything.
Wherever you decide: on European infrastructure we manage, or in your own data centre, on-premise on your own infrastructure. In both cases prompts and responses are never stored or used to train models.
That is the usual starting point. A scanned work order or a photo goes in and the fields come out: asset, date, work done, materials and hours, ready for your maintenance system. The technician or the supervisor validates before it is recorded, and the original stays attached to the record.
The service and deployment documentation: which models are served, where they run, with which dependencies and what access they require. Assessing the supplier, recording it and deciding which measures to apply remain the company's job.
It can happen, which is why the sensible use is assisted lookup over your documentation with a person validating before anything is executed. Answers are grounded in the documents you index and every query is logged for later review. Responsibility for the switching operation stays with whoever signs it.
The company does. The model answers over the corpus you give it, so the circular in force counts from the moment you index it. What we add is that the lookup over that documentation happens inside your perimeter and is logged, with the document version in view.
Yes, with the same key. There the query does go out to the model provider, so customer files and sensitive grid documentation are handled with the open models inside your perimeter. It is configured per team.
The API is OpenAI-compatible: swap the key and the endpoint and your code stays as it is. The models are open, so you can take the weights with you and your exit plan does not depend on us. Your data and your indexes are exportable.
Access control per user and per team, with a record of every query. Compliance and internal audit can review who asked what and when, and export it.
In the demo we go through your case: which models you need, where they run and what it takes to meet the regulation that applies to you.
We reply within one business day.
